Miguel Ángel makes lamps which could appear as props in futuristic films of 50s decade. Shower heads, vintage fans, taps, antennas, colanders, plates, small wheels...are just a few examples of the objects that he puts together in thousands of different ways in order to create unique metal objects. The artist gives warmth to the cold metal and immerses us in a literary and cinema universe which goes from Jules Verne to cyberpunk.With each and every of his lamps Miguel keeps refreshing that idea of beauty first introduced by Comte de Lautréamont which is based on the random encounter of mismatched objects.
